We loaded up the Duke's car and set out for Buffalo. It was a long drive, and subsequently, this will be a pretty boring post.

The new techno-gadget of the day was the iTrip, a little device you hook up to your iPod so that you can play it over your car radio. It mostly worked.

The disappointment of the day was that the rest stops on the Mass Pike used to have Circle K, and now it's some gas station convenience store, so there is no more Mr. Pibb at the soda fountains there.

The mediocre meal of the day was Applebee's.

We finally got to Buffalo around 9ish, and had a very lovely evening with Craig and Heather and Swedie, although it did not seem right to be in Buffalo without Gordon Merrick.
